IDP and Bohol English Study and Training Academy launch the first IELTS on Computer lab in Tagbilaran City, Bohol

 


Bohol, Philippines – IDP Education and Bohol English Study and Training Academy (BESTA) partnered to open the first ever IELTS on Computer Lab in Tagbilaran City, Bohol on July 20, 2024. 



 



This partnership between IDP Education, the world-leader in international education and proud co-owner of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), and Bohol English Study and Training Academy (BESTA), a  widely recognized institution that develops and conducts English language proficiency assessment that evaluates the learners’ pre and post-level English skills, aims to contribute to the Philippines’ prominence as one of the world’s English as Second Language (ESL) Learning Hub and IELTS testing site.



The new IDP-BESTA IELTS on Computer lab is the first IELTS on Computer lab in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Its modern-designed facility elevates and expands the reach of IELTS testing in the country which will provide test takers with the convenience of taking the IELTS on computer with faster results delivery, and a more user-oriented testing experience. 



IELTS on computer offers a convenient way of accomplishing the Reading, Listening and Writing parts of the test using a computer, together with the Video Call Speaking (VCS) test with an IELTS examiner, allowing test takers to complete the entire test in only one day. Test takers can also enjoy faster release of test results in just three to five days and enjoy more testing schedules to choose from. 



More than three million IELTS tests are administered each year as IELTS is accepted by more than 12,000 organizations in over 140 countries, including universities, employers, immigration authorities, and professional institutions. 





Boholano ESL students and locals seeking to take IELTS for study, work, or migration abroad will now have much convenient access to the globe's most trusted and well-known English language proficiency test. 



The IELTS computer lab in Bohol is the 18th facility opened by IDP in the Philippines over the years. In partnership with BESTA, Boholanos will now have a chance to display their skills and proficiency using the English language and grab opportunities from different parts of the world.
